Wow. How stupid are you people? This is a Syrian Hamster. For those of you who swear it's a mouse, please tell me why you can't see its tail. Also, there are no mice in existance with these specific Syrian markings. I have owned hamsters and mice, not to mention bred them. And word of advice to rodent owners, please don't attempt this type of photography unless its a short photo session and one time thing. They could seriously get hurt.

How many people know that that is a mouse? I'm sure the owner knows what scares his pets and what doesn't. My pet mouse like to be tossed in the air a little, he even jumps around to prove it, not all animals would be scared by this.

It's probably trying to escape you. Animals, especially small rodents, shouldn't be "tossed" in the air at all. Not even a little bit, animals should be handled with care, all of them. I don't even want to know how you found out this and think that your animal LIKES being thrown around.
